Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I prevent tunneling?
We generally encourage that you burn your candle for a minimum of one hour - or at least until the top layer of wax melts completely to prevent tunneling. If it's too late and your candle is tunneling, you can find fixes online to correct the candle!
  • What if I can't get my candle to light?
If you trimmed your wick too short after a burn, you may need to dig it out a tiny bit to get it lit. If your candle arrived defective and there is an issue with the wick, email us at business@hvgoods.co and we will remedy it!
  • How do I use all of the wax?
Once your candle is roughly 1/4" from the bottom, we suggest blowing it out to encourage safe burning habits. When this happens, the best habit is to start a new candle!
  • Can I hire you to fill my own container with one of your candles?
If you are local to the Ventura County area, this could potentially be arranged, but we can't commit to shipping any unique vessels due to the possibility of damage. Email us at business@hvgoods.co or reach out to us on Instagram and we can see about arranging this for you!
  • I own a shop and am interested in a collab candle, how do I begin that process?
Email us at business@hvgoods.co and we can explain the process to you!
  • I would like to wholesale your candles, how can I go about doing that?
We use Faire for our wholesale, please follow this link to see our pricing. Feel free to contact us with any and all questions regarding wholesale orders at business@hvgoods.co
  • Can I create my own custom scent for my shop?
We love doing these types of partnerships. To get more details about the process & to learn about our past collaborations, email us business@HVGoods.co and we can begin the process!
